I have a Kenwood CD player that was givin' to me for Christmas by my ex (Headcase) and decided to purchase the whole deal. Two Orion XTR series 2 12", 2 x Kenwood 7x10KFCHQ718, and a pair of Kicker EX62's. I was just wondering what would be the best solution to run two amps with the one outlet from the HU? I have the KAC-X621 and the KAC-X541 amplifiers. Also what is the best way to hook both amps up to the battery. This is all going into a 99 Civic so would I have to obtain a HO alternator and/or a capacitor?

Kind Regards

MeZ

Get a power wiring kit from Walmart or any other audio shop. It will come with complete instruction. You will also need rca splitter so that you can connect 2 amps to one HU. It'll look like a "Y" plug/adapter.
If you don't raise the volume control too high, you might be able to get away with your stock alternator. A capacitor will help out with voltage rails.
If your lights dim with every bass note, then HO alternator will be a good investment. Try 4alterstart.com
