I just read an auction where someone stated "this is a competition amp, not a digital reference" amp. Anyone know what the difference between the two HCCA amps here? Thx

There's not a whole lot of difference. The power rating is identical. However, digital reference amps do not come with crossover/phase shift and is an older model compared to G4/GS.
