my friend has a panasonic head unit and it works fine with the radio (i can hear it)but when he puts in a cd to play the amp turns off. does anybody know why?

Yes I had the same problem i also have a panasonic hu the remote wire is connected wrong,there are two remote wires,one solid blue and the other is blue with a white stripe.it is connected to the blue/white stripe just connect it to the solid blue one and it should work.

yep its conected to the power antenna wire and it nees to be connected to the remote wire.
