A friend of mine has a Pioneer head unit he wants to sell to me. He says it is an 8600, but he doesn't have the box or anything for it. Whenever I look for an 8600 on the internet, there are two models I find. One has a screen display of some fish the other has like lights as if you were driving fast down the road, neither of these are the one he has. The one he as has many choices for the display, like 2 speedometers next to each other, a bird flying, and a race car driving around a grid-like track. I need to find the specs on this head unit so I can decide if its what I want, and if the price he wants for it is fair, which is $170. One other guy tried to help me on this forum but all he gave me were a few links that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. |

I work at circuit city, never had an 8600 for less than $380. The 8600 has 2 raised knobs, full color display, and the model number is written right on the face, check it so you don't get screwed, but if it works and everything, that's a pretty good price |
