I am after a little back ground on the frequencies that the USA use for radios. I brought a sony hu fron fry's!! but have intstalled into my car in New Zealand. the radio seems to jump all even numbers. is that the way they work over there? if so has anyone got the code to change to the south pacific bands?

Yeah...over here, we only have odd numbered stations (85.3,85.5,85.7,etc.). Unless it is a special model made for an international market (I doubt it is, most aren't) then I'm not sure if you will be able to change that feature. Your best bet, probably, is to contact Sony and see if there is any way to change it.

Cheers for your help, I think i will drop them an e-mail and see what they can do. bit of a bummer now that i'm home and it doesn't quite do everything. Again thanks for helping out.
