HCCA amps are VERY under rated in power. Yes, it says 25W x 2 but hook up any component/sub and you'll see what it can do. |

But will give out enough juice for one 4ohm Type-R 12"? i dnt have the power rating on the sub. But the amp specs did state dat it was 400Watts max tho.. oh and its used. Waddya think? Shuld i go with a used 225 HCCA or a new 350.2 Kicker? |

Oh btw.. im not sure what model the orion amp is.. all i can see from the pics are that they're ORION 225 HCCA..and the words 'Digital reference' underneath the 225 HCCA. |

Orion HCCA amp will kick kicker's a$$ in performance and power. If you want to use it with a sub, look for Orion HCCA 225G4 model. It has low, high, as well as Intelli Q control for it. If you have equalizer in you HU, then Digital reference will do fine. It is not 400W max, it's under rated 400w rms.
