Thread: Is something wrong with my amp RF P8004? |

Hi My setup Sony CDX-MP40 Polk db650 in front 60 RMS each Polk db690 in rear 100 RMS each RF P8004 (4-channal) My speakers were sounding better before when amp was not installed. Now my system sounds awaful.I got my amp installed by a professional. Is there something i need to tweak and tune. Please help. Thanks

Sounds very flat, not sweeet at all, i feel i am hearing in mono, this amp supposed to be stereo. |

In that case, you might want to check out the installation. Look at the amp and see if there's 2 sets of rca cables from the HU. Also make sure there's no short with the speaker wires near the amp. If everything looks okay, then test each channel by connecting the rca cables one at at time. It could be that maybe one of the rca cables got crossed during installation. |
