my friend sold me a decent Pioneer amp The Load Imp. is 1-8 ohms. Input level is 400 mV - 4.5 V. The Speaker Input Level is 1.6V - 18V and i was wondering if it would damage my stock speakers on my 01 rodeo? i have a aftermarket cd/mp3 deck and i was planning to change out my speakers but im on a budget. so if i can install this amp would it be worth it or should i just wait until i get some new speakers. i really want to hook it up as soon as i can.

Thanks for all your help!

Don't use the speaker level input. They give you terrible sound quality.
As for our stock speakers, you can install the amp. As long as you don't raise the volume too high, you'll be fine.
Remember, stock speakers are 20W rms to match HU's power.
