Thread: Amp fuse trouble please help |

Hi i have a 3000 class d amp which is Legacy hooked up to 2-12 inch power acoustic subs in a box.The problem i have is the power fuse keeps blowing.The amp and the speakers are both brand new.Any one have any ideas what may be causing this i am getting so aggrivated. |

I had brigded my ppi-pcx2125 amp to my 2 alpine type r's and every 10 mins i would blow the fuse... i dont know whats wrong and neither did the audio store we both have this problem anyone have any ideas? |

how big are your guy's fuses they may be to small. |

It could be the way you have it hook up. At what ohms are the subs hooked up at. Sound like the amp is trying to push more ohms than it can handle and pulling to much volts and getting to hot causing the amp to pop the fuses. |

you may have a short somewhere. check all your wiring. check the cable sizes. |
