I have 2 Cerwin Vega VMax 15' SVC runnin at 4ohms. About how many watts would this Vega mono amp put on one sub because im thinkin about buying two. Please help out.

The amp is Cerwin Vegas EXL 1000D
1000 watts Mono into 2 ohms
@ less then 0.1% THD
Vega Bass! Boost Control
High Current MOSFET power supply
Durable Mil Spec Glass
Epoxy pcb
Audiophile Grade Audio Components in Signal Path
Variable 12dB/oct Highpass/Lowpass Crossover

Those 2 subs can be wired down to 2 ohms and each sub would receive 500 watts. Even if the amp is overrated, those subs only need 400 watts each. I don't know anything about Cerwin Vega amps but I'd be suprised if a cerwin vega amp was rated at 1000 watts and didn't even put out 800 because cerwin vega makes awesome subs.
