Hi, i have 1 12" XTANT X-series 1244 subwoofer with these specs:

Specifications X1244
Description 12"
Impedance Dual 4 Ohm
Power Handling(RMS) 500 Watts
Frequency Response 27-150 Hz
Sensitivity 87.2dB

What kind of amplifier would you recommend to get the best performance out of my subwoofer, i really dont wanna go over $300.

You should be able to find lot of amps under $300. Try Orion,PPI,RF,Kicker,JL,JBL,Audiobahn, and MTX. Go to eBay.com and search for amps.
