which amp would you all suggest for 2 12 inch type r's would the hifonics bx1500 or bx1000 be a good amp for them i want to get atleast 400rms to 500rms to each sub since they suggest 500 rms to each sub and im not tryin to spend $500 on an alpine amp thanks |

Actually they are rms at 300.I have 2 12" type r's too hooked up to an MTX 500 watt amp its only puttin out like 180 watts to each sub but it still sounds pretty good,but it could sound better.I would get a JL 500/1 for them if I were you,thats like $450 tho.If you dont want to spend that much then look into MTX,Kicker,or a good brand like that. |

are they the type r 1221d or the 1241d if they are the 1221d get a jbl600.1 or a infinity reference 610a for like 200 off ebay. you will prob blow the subs if you put 500wrms to each one. |

they are the 2 ohm version so the 1221d so why does some1 say get a jbl 600.1 then some1 says a 1200.1 |
