This Q is not about car sound its about Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow for my 1997 Ford ranger 3.0L will this sound good. 40 or 50 SERIES DELTA FLOWMASTER Muffler.

Honestly, IMO Flows sound like crap on a 6 cylinder. It depends on what kind of sound you're after, but they sound really raspy on 6 cylinders. Chambered mufflers in general don't work well with 6 cyls and 4 cyls. They tend to be too raspy for them. I think you're better off with Walker Dynomaxes, Magnaflows, or something similar. You definately need true dual exhaust, if you don't you'll sound just like any import with a coffee can exhaust. There are plenty of sound clips on the net, you should do a search and find sites that let you download them. |
