Logic Soundlab 3000w gsx-26hc: http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?icatid=305&stk_code=loggsx26hc&svbname=293 Somebody said they will have this for me 2marro for $100. If its worth it, I would power two 12" Type R's. 1/2 ohm stable? Not sure how accurate these claims are. Anyone know anything about these? |

Don't due it man. First off don't look at the max wattage look at the rms. Second if a manufacture says their amp it 2000 watts max then says the rms is 100 you know they are exagerating their numbers. Since we know they are exagerating their numbers you can garanty it is not 1/2 ohm stable. See were I am going with this? If it seems to good to be true ($100 for a 2000 watt amp) it probably is. If you are straped for cash check out ebay for a jbl refurbished amp. You can find them pretty cheap, and it won't blow on you after 5 min of use. |

I was planning to buy it off this kid that worked at a car audio shop. He said he used it to power Kicker L5's I believe. The amp has 3, 30w fuses, says its 1500wRMS at 1/2 ohm... dont know if its even worth it, just trying to upgrade this American Legacy 1200w amp (LA960). Its only about a $100 retail, but its working pretty good on the Type R's... suprisingly. I guess if it aint broke dont fix it. But I just know it can sound even better! |
