i have a jl audio system which includs a 1000\1 amp, 2 15w3v2, and a 3fard stinger power cap. it is brand new and have never had it hocked up i wanted to buy 1 more 15w3v2 but didnt know if my system (amp) could handdle it please help me shawn ballinger thug_ak47_9@hotmail.com |

Shawn, that'll depend on your sub's VC and ohms. JL amp is 2 to 1ohms stable. Make sure you do not go lower than their minimum ohm requirements.

i dont know how many ohms my subs have there 15w3v2 i know there dual. should i jest leave it a 2 or buy the 3ed one

well u should kinda find out.. u want the voice coilconfigs to be the same either voice coil config x 3 subs will fit within the jl amps ohm range which is 1.5 to 4 ohms accually 3 dvc 2 ohm subs can yield a 3 ohm load on the amp 3 dvc 4 ohm subs can yield a 2 .67 ohm load on the amp so the main thing is amp strong enough for those the subs rms rating is 500 watts so that amp would be perfect for 2 i wouldnt bother adding a third |
