I have 12 1200 watt solobaric with 400 2 channel autotek amp. I also have mtx amp that is running my front and rear speakers. I'm using 4 gauge wire. Every time I bridge the autotek amp. it cuts out when the bass hits. it runs fine when it not bridged. is it the amp or the way it is installed.

What load are the speakers? Are you trying to run it bridge at 2ohms or less?

if the sub is dual 4 ohm coils, your amp is seeing a 1 ohm load and going into thermal protection mode.
you picked the wrong sub/amp combination.
