Hi would a MTX Thunder1501D work with 2 15" type r, 2 ohm, 500 rms watt each, subs thanks to anyone that can help me.

If the amp is the following:

And the subs are the following:

Then the options you have for wiring are the following:

You would have to pick option number 2 (2 ohm load) because you can't either to a 0.5 ohm or 8ohm load. Be careful because at a 2ohm load you will be producing 1500watts RMS and both speakers combined can take 1000watts RMS. So you can't crank your amp's gain up at all. Theoretically it will work but you gotta be careful to not blow those subs especially at $350 a piece!
