I have 2 4 ohm dvc 12 inch subs. If Im looking at this right I can wire them to 1 ohm right? http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard.asp?WoofQty=2+woofers&WoofImp =Dual+Voice+Coil+-+4+ohms+x+2&image.x=17&image.y=10 So I need a strong amp that will do 800 w x 1 at 1 ohm. My subs are 400 w rms. Does anyone know any good amps that are stable to 1 ohm? |

yeah planet audio is a good brand for amps and subs at that, but you can get the VX900D it pushes 650x1 (rms) at two ohms, but is also 1 ohm stable doing 950x1 (max) this is a very good buy and you can get one for about 350 - 425 if you shop around. |

you could also use a 2 channel amp rated for: 200w x 2 @ 4 ohms 400w x 2 @ 2 ohms 800w x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged planet audio is a subsidiary of Boss Audio. most amps aren't 1 ohm stable. keep that in mind when shopping.
