ok i have 2 15inch alpine type r 2ohm 500 rms watts a peice, i was wondering what would be the best but in a good price range?

Try the aduiobahn a8000t amp. It would push 400 rms to each sub. That was what I had going to my two type r 15's, and it slamed so hard. It was a fairly cheap amp and for sure worth every penny. It also has a cooling fan so it won't overheat being cranked at high volumes, for a long period of time!!! Well good luck with your subs, and what ever amp you choose.
