Thread: Amp goes on and off. |

Im not sure why but the 520 watt amp I have that used to work fine now just turns on and off around every3 3-4 seconds. You can hear a tiny bit of music fo the second that its on for. Then it just turns off again. If any one knowswhy, or how I can cure this problem please let me know. Thankz. |

What is the ohm load that your speakers are presenting to the amp? What amp is it? |

Im not sure what the load is, but its connected to 2 5x9's an a 12 inch sub. Its a 4-channel, 520 watt amp. |

Check your conections, especially your ground. Sounds like you may have something loose. |

Sounds possibly like a grounded remote wire... The wire may be rubbing on metal somewhere... Just something to check. |
