Thread: Glass or anyone else problem with fosgate amp |

I have a Old rockford fosgate series 1 4060x 4 channel amp and one 12" sub DVC i would like to know how to put all the 4channels to the sub so it can hit harder Right know i got it bridged on the front channels how would i put the rear channel power to the sub? it has 4 rca inputs The only thing i know about this amp is that i'ts 2x 180 At 4 0hms any help would be apreciated. |

IF the sub has teo 4 ohm coils, bridge the amp to 2 channels and put one channel on each coil of the sub. that'll put full power to the single sub

hey glass i just connected the sub to the amp like you said and all you hear is disortion. I dont know if i connected it wrong but it sounded bad. If you have the time can you maybe post a picture of how i'ts supposed to be connected i just want my sub to be a liitle better until I upgrade. Thanks |

the amp's manual should show how to bridge it. you have it wired wrong if all you're getting is distortion though. http://www.bcae1.com/bridging.htm that explains how bridging works
