THrere is power when i check the wires with a volt meter bvefore they are connected to the amb....but when i hook it up to the amp there is only like 3 volts what is the problem?????????? |

umm, need more info.
are you checking power and ground at the amp connectors for voltage?
are you getting 12 volts at the remote connection as well when the radio is on?
what is the system? how is everything wired?

i check the wires both at the amp and withouyt connecting it.
i use tjhe remote from the positive sonnector on the amp just to c if it turns on.
pretty much your basic setup...a fuse on the positive and the remote has power and ther ground is just somewhere on the body. |
