I'm looking to buy some older US Amps, one 400 and one 200. 400 RMS and 200RMS is what is printed on the amps. The 400 is being advertised that it is really 1100 RMS. Now I've heard that they are under-rated, but that's a huge difference. Can someone fill me in on these older amps?
Thanks!

wattage depends on load.
most good older amps were advertised for output power @ 4 ohms per channel, thus the low ratings.
