Also that amp is an 800 watt amp. The 1500 watt's is a max output, max mean's virtually nothing. At 2 ohms that amp will put out 800 watt's rms. Rms means basically "constant" power. |

RMS power, 4 ohm: 540w x 1 RMS power, 2 ohm: 800w x 1 for $180 I can find much nicer amplifiers. BOSS Audio amps are built with cheap, low quality components and poor designs. I've seen a lot of them fail for no good reason within a year or so of purchase. The only saving grace is a long warranty so you can send it back to them repeatedly for replacement when it does fail for some of their models. This one doesn't even appear to have the normal 5 years though.. only 1 year. It's a matter of getting what you pay for. If you want 800 watts RMS, you'll have a hard time finding that large amount of power in a reliable package for as cheaply as you're shopping. If you want a good amp, save up some money and buy something worth the money you're worked to earn.
