When I search ebay for radar detectors I get thousands of options. When I look at the different choices, most sell for around fifty dollars. Yes there are the $300 dollar ones there but most are cheaper. They seem new and all claim to have the latest technology but when I read the message boards all I hear about are the Valentine 1 and the Escort 8500 which are $300. If wanted to spend around $100 for a radar detector primarily for the highway what would you suggest?
