hello, I recently bought this sub

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/2001Thunder8000Sub.cfm

10 inches, 4 ohms., 400 watts rms/800 max

and I got a sony amp, but after it overheated, and after reading how much everyone seems to hate sony amps, I have decided to return it. What would you guys suggest for me to run this single sub and get maximum thump from it. I'm looking to get something fairly cheap, if possible about 150 dollars. I found some things on ebay but i'm not sure what brands are reliable. Any help is appriciated.

If you're going to order from cardomain.com, make sure they match the price. I think somehow, they will jack up the shipping if they match the lower price.
I ordered something that costed $82 and the shipping was $19. It was $5 higher than what it should've been. So get the shipping cost first, and then make them match a lower priced product.
