I have a 1994 4runner with an oem amplifier behind the stock cd player, the amp is blown, and i need a new cd player. If i got a new, aftermarket CD player with decent wattage, would i have to get a new OEM amplifier, or do i eliminate the need for it? |

if the head unit you buy has it's own power, that should be all you need. you can also get adapters to allow you to replace the factory amplifier with a new aftermarket amp if you wish, too. www.pac-audio.com makes adapters for doing this.
