i was planning to get an alpine cda-9831 which has a 4 band eq, but if i was to get a cheaper model like cda-9827, would it be useful to get an in-dash eq from audiocontrol, the three.1. also is a 4v preout high enough or should i get a line driver from a.c. as well. any good sites to get the three.1 cheap!!!!!

most of AC's devices have line drivers internally.
if you really need an EQ or not is personal taste.
