Hey guys! I am 15-so I'm new ro all this. I have a Pheonix Gold amp thats prolly 220x2... I think. I also have two 10" rockford Fosgate DVC subs... What would be my best "low dollar" amp?? I dont have much money at all, and I have limited space.. Can you overpower these subs? If I get an amp that has a lot of power, could it hurt the sound? Just wondering! I need a cheap-but quality amplifier! Thanks you guys.

Hey Josh, try eBay if you can. They usually have MTX 6500D that's 500W @2ohms and 775W @14.4v. They usually go for $75-$125.
Lots of power at a cheap price.
You can't really blow a sub by giving a little extra juice. It's always the distortion/clipping that causes damage.
Since you're new to the game, make sure you set the amp's gain control properly. Check the amp's manual for further instructions.
