I just had new Alpine HU 9811 installed and rear speakers do not work with CD play. They work fine with tuner.
Also I have a powered sub connected via RCA. I am sure this is a simple problem, I just need help fixing it.

was it installed professionally?
take it back.
apparently someone grounded the speakers using the power antenna lead or something.
The 9811 is just wired incorrectly.
