i just got my new stereo after i lost my other one and when i hooked up my 2 subs and amp the amp didn't turn on
yes, i have power to the amp, the ground is in a good place and before i lost my stereo the amp was working fine

Describe the situation a little more. Oftentimes if the ground isn't disconnected first from the amp, or the positive lead on the battery is still connected you can blow the amp. Does it have protection on?
