Are there any 2 ch. amps that are 2 ohm stable in bridged mode? I have my amp bridged but i have my subs VC's run in parallel to give it a 2 ohm load. am i going to ruin my amp? Its been running like this for a year or two now. Ive been looking on ebay at some RF amps and all the 2 ch. say 4 ohm stable in bridged mode. |

Not sure where you're getting this, but I see that you can bridge them at 2ohms. Look at class D amps though, those are usually even 1ohm stable. |

yeah I figured you could since mine is not ruined, its just that i see the amps specs and they say 4 ohm stable in bridged mode and 2 ohm stable in stereo mode. O well, thanks for the input. im getting a mono block amp but it is a class A/B, dam. I really wanted to get a class D. |

there are amps that are stable at 2 ohms bridged. look for amps stable to 1 ohm in stereo. those will be stable to 2 ohms when bridged. Orion's HCCA series amplifiers are all this way in fact, as are a number of other brands.
