someone at the audio recommended using 0 gauge wire from batter to distro block fir 2 MRD-M501's
i was like ok untill i saw a roll of 2 gauge today which looked massive ..so is this guy full of crap or do i really need to use this giant wire

V12 AccuClass-D amp

figure at 2 ohms, the amp will draw about 46A of current at full output
that's 92A of current total for two of them.
at that amount of current, you're good using 4ga cable for up to a 20 foot run.
no need for 2ga unless you add a third amp.

yes 2ga and 0ga cable are both rather huge.
not much fun to route through a firewall and under trim panels either.
