anyone ever heard of legacy amps and if so are they any good? |

yes, and no. respectively. Legacy amplifiers are very cheap, and very poorly made. reliability is poor, and they are highly over-rated for power delivery. Their "2400 watt" amplifiers really put out about 200 watts x 2. They wouldn't see a real 2400 watts short of being dropped on top of the leads of a heliarc welder.
