When you are bridging a 2 channel amp, do you run the positive cable to the sub from BOTH of the positive terminals on the amp or just ONE, and likewise with the negative? My sub hasn't been performing like it should so I was wondering about it. thanks

did you consult the manual for the amplifier?
usualoly it's right pos, left neg, or vice versa.
you only use one positive, and the opposite negative on the other channel.
one channel is inverted so never use both pos and both neg to one speaker.

Read the manual for the amp to make sure that the total resistance across your subs is higher than what your amp is rated in bridged(mono) mode.
