Hey I have a couple questions for anyone who can answer me, I plan on getting a couple 12" subs and have it narrowed down to Alpine Type R's and JL W3's. Im leaning towards the Type R's right now because they look like they are gonna be more affordable. I have been told these 2 subs are pretty eqaul really is this true? Also if I do go with the Type R's should I get the 1221D or 1241D? I plan on running it to a JL Audio 500/1 amp if I can get my hands on one as I've been told its a pretty good choice for subs such as these. So knowing Im going for the 1 amp to 2 subs would the 1221d's or 1241d's be better?

thanks a lot

For two subs 1221s wired for a 2 ohm load is your best bet; yes the Type Rs and W3s are both great subs depends on what one you like.
