I have heard Glasswolf say that the jl 1000/1 puts out 1200-1400+ on a scope. I am wondering if 1 amp would be enough to power 2 id max's in a sealed enclosure or if i would be better off just getting one? Has anyone heard the chameleon components?

well...if you get 2 amps...you will have overhead...
which is a good thing, if you can set gains properly.
1 amp will be underpowering, but it will still be
quite loud, and a lot less too worry about.

I had the 2 ohm chameleon comps on 200wRMS each(I dont recommend this much power to a novice)
and they were fantastic.
I recommend them highly...its a great set.
Great SQ...very flat, and powerful.
