i have a 2004 f-150 stx supercrew with the single disc stock stereo. i have a jensen jxp720 amp with two jl audio 10 inch 10w0 subs. i have the power cord, remote wire, ground wire, and the rca cable. Can somebody tell me how two wire up the amp and also if i need an adaptor for the rca cable?

For stock stereo you'll need some kind of an adaptor, i think it's called like a Y-adapater...not sure though. Ground wire goes to the car chasis. Remote wire to the headunit. RCA from headunit to low input of amp, power from positive battery lead to amp power. Don't forget to fuse the power wire right by the battery.
