I have 2 Fosgate 10" P-1 (400wts) SVC @ 4ohms. I have a real good deal on the table to buy a Planet Audio amp. I'm confused on which one would be the best. These are D-class amps: VX1400D- max. 1250w, rms 500 X 1 (4 ohms) VX900D- max. 950w, rms 375 X 1 (4 ohms)

Hey Anthony, I'd go with VX1400D model. You'll find that once you start cranking up the volume, 375W is not enough. When you say a good deal, how much are you talking? There are lot of amps besides that. |

The cost for the VX1400D is $291 and for the VX900D is $214. |

If you go on cardomain.com and hit the shop by brand, check out JBL. I would imagine their amps are better quality than the Planet Audio, plus you'll be saving some money. www.cardomain.com. Check out their BP renewed amps, when they have them on there. Also, they have an MTX renewed up there. http://www.cardomain.com/shoplist~b~MTX+Audio~t~Subwoofer+Mono+Amps If you like Orion, they have one as well: http://www.woofersetc.com/product.asp?0=399&1=705&3=3450 Just wanted to give you some other options, assuming you're not definately set on getting Planet Audio. |
