Okay i got a soundstorm stretch daddy 400.2 (400 watts rms in 4ohm mode) then a audiobahn aw1251t dual 4ohm v/c sub. how should i wire the speaker parallel or series? and for all of you who are going to say soundstorm makes shitty amps and i should go out and spend 100's of dollars for a system i dont really care so dont tell me. |

Im guessing the amp is 2 channel 400wRMS bridged.. well..you either bought the wrong sub, or the wrong amp. Not because theyre both crap...but because theyre not compatible. Either get a dual 2 ohm sub, or a mono amp capable of a 2 ohm load. |

nailed it right on the head... or you can bridge the amp to the sub in series, giving it only 200w rms which would make some noise, but not a whole lot... |
