Im adding a distribution block because im adding a second amp, but i dont know if i still have to keep the fuse under the hood (close to the battery), or if i have to take it off? thanks |

The fuse under the hood is to prevent a fire due to an accident or poor wiring... A distrobution block, fused or not, does not take the place of the fuse under the hood.

ok, thanks, so ill leave it alone, now i have this question, can i use regular speaker wire (16 gauge) as remote wire? Im a start a thread on this but if you can help thatd be great. |

You can if its youve got some to waste but any 18 gauge wire till work. Most install shops will give it to you for free, or real cheap if you ask.

FYI, HU puts out 200ma to the remote wire. So you can use almost any wires. |
