Well ok i made a post a while back and i finally got my speakers running. Turns out my 1000w amp had a burnt resistor and i dunno whether it'd be cheaper to repair it or buy a new one.

But the real problem is i have my old kenwood 600w 2ch amp and i have the 2subs bridged in parallel which i believe would read as 2ohms to the amp (correct me if im wrong) after a while the subs cut in and out. I turn the car off go back and check the amp and wow...could fry some eggs on there easily. Since this amp is 2 channel i feel its weak to run bridged subs cause of the ohms it detects but would it be better if i wired the subs in series or would it just make matters worse and lower output.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thx in advance.

Put each sub on its own channel.
