I have a Profile California 1000 watt amplifier,I was listening to some music then all of a sudden my amp cut off.My inline power fuse was not blow,but the two on my amp were.I tried to put a new one in,Sparks flew,there goes 3.00 more $'s.I checked my subwoofer connections ,theres no external bad connections.What is wrong?What can I do?Help! |

Maybe your overloading the amp. How do you have your speakers wired? How much of a load(ohms) are you putting on the amp? Can the amp handle it? Check your ground wire to the amp. |

I have a dual 4 ohm voice coil subwoofer.I have one channel to each coil.I don't know if it's too much,but it sounds the best that way.Is this a bad idea?How would the ground affect my amp? |

Is your amp bridgable to 2 ohm? If it is then bridge it. I heard that if you have a bad ground connection then you can blow fuses. Check the ground connection and amke sure that it is tight. |
