hey guys, im helping a friend with his SUV, FORD ESCAPE to be more exact, well here's the thing we want to install an amp for a subwoofer but he does not want to remove his stock radio nor connect a "pre-amp"...how do i connect the amp 4 the subs and what do i need?? what problems can i encounter? e-mail me if anything thnx |

Not to many options w/o a pre-out converter. you could get an amp with high inputs and wire it from the back speakers. Probably won't sound too good though. |

Yes a pre amp is the best way to go w/o replacing the stock radio. |
