hey guys, im helping a friend with his SUV, FORD ESCAPE to be more exact, well here's the thing

we want to install an amp for a subwoofer but he does not want to remove his stock radio nor connect a "pre-amp"...how do i connect the amp 4 the subs and what do i need?? what problems can i encounter?

one more question the sub is a auidbahn 450 rmx, what amp can i use?

Not to many options w/o a pre-out converter. you could get an amp with high inputs and wire it from the back speakers. Probably won't sound too good though.

Yes a pre amp is the best way to go w/o replacing the stock radio.

That depends on the sub, how loud you want, your taste, and price range.
