I am running 2 amplifiers, which are pushing two alpine swr-1221d's, both amps have 2 30A fuses, so 4 all together. I am wondering what is the correct and safe size fuse I need to use in my inline fuse holder???? |

Any current overload device is used to protect the wire, not the load, so you would need to size the fuse according to the size of your main power wire going to the inline fuse holder. |

Hey Chad, most fuses are 60A. Check under the hood. If your wire is 4 gauge, then it can handle higher amperage. Take your watts for the amps divide by 12v, and it'll give you the amps. That is the fuse size the amps will be requiring.
