is there a big difference between the performance of an expensive amp kit compared to a cheap one. they have decent looking ones at meijer for 25 bucks, how bad would they be.

I wouldnt get it. It is probably an 8 gauge kit. You can get a 4 gauge kit here:

This is probably the best priced 4 gauge kit.

If I were to get a 1500w amp in a jeep grand cherokee would I need to run 0 guage wire?
