Ok guys i am recommending my friend get 2 Adire Shiva subs but i do not know what amp he should use. i told him 2 get the jbl 1200.1 but i dunno if he should still get that or not. if he should get another amp which one? something around $200. or should he get the amp and different types of subs?? Sumthing around $150. Thanks in advance. |

Whoa, I'm not sure if you will be able to get jbl 1200.1 for $200. I think for that price, you might have to settle for MTX class D. They are a nice amp. One thing that I don't think jbl 1200.1 has is the remote bass control. You don't know how important that is until you use it. MTX 6500D has a port for remote control. |

a jbl bp600.1 on 2 shivas would sound good. wire em in parrallel for a 2 ohm load, the 600.1 will get em both ~300w each at 2ohms(maybe a little more). shivas usually sound good with about 300-400w each. a bp1200.1 is a little over kill. |
