the kicker 12L5 is 600 watts RMS. so you need an amp that will give it those true 600watts. i recommend getting a kicker kx600.1 at a local car audio shop with warranty, or off of ebay if you want to save some money. i currently have 2 12L5s and they sound good enough for me.
