does any body know how to hook up new amp without taking off factory(infinity gold)? Do i hook it up to factory amp or to player? I have a mono amp that will be used only for subwoofer. |

you get a Metra adapter harness that taps into teh factory system and gives you a set of RCA pre-outs to use for the amplifier. That's the only good way to do it. www.metra-online.com

any car audio shop should be able to order one or have it in stock. you could try through metra-online or partsexpress.com or similar as well.

Is that a LOC or something... never heard of the metra. A LOC will work most likely too. |

Help2, the Jeep's premium system is similar to the Bose and Mach systems. It uses amplifiers in the stock system, so a line reducer is required to get a clean line level signal. there is a harness sold that splits off the factory amp harness to provide the proper RCA line outs for adding an amplifier and subs to the factory system.
