What is the best system i can get for 2500 dollars i have a 1996 nissan 200sx what should i get

$2500 out the door, including having it professionally installed? Regarless, go JL Stealth for the two amps and go JL for the sub.
Go with a phat coax for the front and rip out the backs. Phat=MB quart Q series. These JL amps (500/1) and (300/2) are built like tanks and have this new bitchn R.I.P.S. technology to cleanly drive mad power based on any ohm configuration. Drop the cash on JL. It's worth it. If they sell it at Best Buy, don't buy it! Treat yourself to a nice Kenwood Excelon HU with graphics. Put that baby in slave mode. L8R. |

it's good that you have a budget in mind, but what are you after for the system?
what kinds of music? what are your listening habits? how much space are you willing to sacrifice for amps and sub enclosures etc?
need some details

as much space asa necewssary to put a good system in i listen to heavy metal and punk rock i want quality i was thinkin of going with alpine or mb quart as far as quality goes but i want quality most of all if i have enough left ove id get a dvd player and a monitor

well, a good DVD player is going to cost you half your budget. about $1200.
otherwise, perhaps an alpine or eclipse CD/mp3 unit for about $350-600
4 channel amp @ ~50-70w x 4 @ 4 ohms
look at Kicker, MTX, Memphis, and Zapco Reference series (my favorite of the list)
CDT classic 6.5" separates in front
6.5" coaxials in back

2 adire brahma 12", or two eclipse Ti 12" subs
sub amp,
Kicker or JBL 1200 watt amp, mono. that, or similar.. maybe Memphis, or Orion.
2ga or 0ga amp wiring, enclosures for the subs, installation etc..
that'd do it.
